I love Chris Tomlin. I saw him in concert several years back and have been a fan ever since. His songs just seem to pierce me. I find myself in the car, singing at the top of my lungs like I am a rock star...no care in the world, just lifting my voice to the heavens.
But you see...this song..."OUR GOD"...well, it began to strike a nerve with me.
You see...it says that nothing can stand against our God.
It says that our God is awesome in power.
He is greater.
He is stronger.
He is healer.
But my dad died!
He wasn't healed.
We believed.
We prayed over him.
We stood firm on the word of God.
On His promise.
And he died.
So like many days the past few months, today as I stood in church, singing this song, the tears came.
I lifted my voice and I sang to my Lord...
You are greater.
You are stronger.
and then...then...the words I couldn't sing until today...
YOU ARE HEALER!
Because today...today it hit me. Something I knew. Something I trust in. Something that isn't just coming out of nowhere...but something I needed to feel today...
MY DAD WAS HEALED!
His life before Christ.... sin.... filth.... failure... unrepentance... anger... lust... defeat....

So, my dear friends...the question today is: HAVE YOU BEEN HEALED?
Have you taken that time in your life to tell Christ you need healing. He already knows it. He's just waiting for you to acknowledge it. He just wants you to repent. To change from the ways of the world to the ways of HIM! Do it today my friends. Do it today...OUR GOD! HEALER!
