I made it to Africa

Hi all,
We made it to Africa. I am with a fabulous team from across the United States. I actually am quite humbled by the talent and level of obedience to God in the other team members!  There are three women and seven men. We are in great hands here in Africa. It was late when we arrived, so we haven't seen much of Freetown yet. We will be going to the orphanage in the morning and I get to help give the children all the wonderful donations you all provided. Hope to blog more tomorrow night. Be sure to also check out http://savetheorphan.blogspot.com/ for updates!

Thank you for all the continued prayer!

Jen

  4. Jen - Awesome! verses of Deuteronomy 28 come to mind in my prayers for you - You will be blessed in the city, blessed in the country, blessed going in and blessed going out, You have the favor of GOD and man (customs, border control, whatever you need), unexpected blessings chase you down the street (dirt road, gravel road, whatever). YOU are blessed and highly favored ... YOU are a child of the most high GOD! Love you much my sister in Christ :)

  5. I'm glad to see you made it. It is amazing to see the work you're doing. The pictures make it real and brings all of us who view them a virtual tour of a life in Africa.

    God Bless!!!
